Manual & Mechanical Shaking Bag Filters
Manual and mechanical shaking bag filters are dry dust collection systems designed to remove particulate matter from industrial exhaust air. These systems use fabric filter bags to capture dust while allowing clean air to pass through.
Dust-laden air enters the bag filter housing where particles are retained on the surface of the filter bags. To maintain filtration efficiency, accumulated dust is removed by manual or mechanical shaking of the bags, which dislodges the dust and allows it to fall into the hopper for collection.
These bag filters are simple in design, reliable in operation, and suitable for applications with low to moderate dust loads. Manual and mechanical shaking bag filters are commonly used where compressed air is not available and continuous operation is not critical.
